| ce? Won't using insurance cause your rates to go up a lot? I always figured insurance was only something you would want to use if it was something huge..not something small. I honestly am not sure though, cause I've never had to use insurance thus far. If you do decide to pay for it yourself though, a brand new PPG windshield for me cost $225 for parts, removal, and installation. Add in another $100-$200 for the plastic cowls, and you're set. I know the hood will obviously cost more too, but since you were already going to get rid of it don't count that money to make yourself feel better ;-) Either way, good luck with it all dude.
